Young Adventurers Guild

About

The Young Adventurers Guild was established to provide virtual role playing game sessions to youth ages 8-13. The idea was dreamed up when COVID-19 hit and people were trapped inside. The Guild brings kids from the  dreary zoom school life and gives them a sense of adventure  via the medium of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) and other Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPG). As a boon, this gives their parents some much needed time to focus on other tasks.

Ian Cunningham

Ian has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 20 years. Our resident Dungeon Master loves telling stories and working with kids, and teaching new things! Ian's hobbies include podcasts, painting miniatures, crafting foam armor and props, writing, and exercising outdoors!

Taylor Coe

Imogene Taylor Coe has been playing TableTop Role Playing Games for thirty years, and running them for more than twenty. As the eldest cousin, Taylor was always the one running the games for all of her little cousins and their friends over holiday vacations. This grew over the years to running several multi-year campaigns with friends, running multiple tables at major national conventions, and building a big bag of tricks along the way.

Every player brings something unique to even the oldest storytelling tropes. Utilizing skills learned in Improv, Taylor specializes in pulling out what is unique to each player’s character, weaving backstories into adventures to help players feel their character as a part of the setting they inhabit, and a part of the Party they adventure with.

After Summer 2023 Taylor will leave to begin her own business in friendship. Find her at Imagination Tailor Adventures.

Dungeons & Dragons

Dungeons and Dragons is a Table Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) that has grown in popularity since the release of 5th edition. You can now find it in shows online, and played in most gaming groups. D&D features a very structured system for describing your characters abilities, their strengths and weaknesses. A Dungeon Master describes (DM) the world and results of the dice rolls of the players, who primarily use a 20 sided dice to represent chance.
